Last night as we were on our way home from the world's longest trip to Wal-Mart, Beloved was a bit slap-happy and generally being silly.
#2 has a game that she likes to play where she pretends that she has a remote control that makes you do what ever she says.
So last night #2 says, "Daddy I have my remote control and I am pushing the button that will make you stop talking." She then makes the sound of the button being pushed and Daddy who is always willing to accomodate a pretend game, stops talking and just moves his mouth withoug making a sound.
#2 then says, "Mommy I did that so you could have some peace and quiet."
That's right my girl...she's got Mommy's back.
I laughed all the way home.
And Beloved couldn't say a word.

Brillant!
Send her on over to my place. I need a remote with a button where they actually do chores while mom's not home.
All day I was gone (Saturday). I just come back to more laundry and dishes. Such insolence!
Tell #2 she needs to market her plans for people remote-controls. I'll buy at least three of them...
