Since we apparently are not going to have any more winter weather...
I will be excited that we are apparently in our first severe thunderstorm watch of the year.
Living in Kansas for the majority of my nearly 3_ years I have grown used to extreme and ever changing weather patterns.
So this winter was damn boring in my opinion.
Bring on the storms I say!!
Give me wind, hail, and heavy rain!
I want weather appropriate to the season.
Because I have said it before and I will say it again..this atypical stuff gives me the heebie jeebies.

Thunderstorms are a time of terror at our house; terror that child #1 will awaken and begin her way over-the-top "I'm so afraid of thunder" performance which ends with her in our bed convulsing every time there's a boom of thunder until she can't stay awake any more. Granted, she's starting to grow out of this, but I figure about the time she does, child #2 will start in.
