Not So Great Picture of a Fountain

Went to a local-ish art museum today. Pictures were discouraged, and it was too rainy for me to feel comfortable taking any pictures outside when we were walking around. Above is a pretty fountain in the dining area where we ate lunch. I had to crop the crap out of it to get all the strangers out of the picture. The lighting was bad and all in all I just don't feel this is a great picture.

Just a random shot that I took without the view finder of the ceiling in the dining area. Again, just a meh picture.

That is what I got today. I had hoped for cooler shots given we were on a big outing today, but alas the stars did not align today.

Wow. Swanky looking place. Where is that if the thousands of us out here might know?

Shooting water is hard. You will have to work on dragging the shutter to get a fluid look to the water. You could spend a week learning it. Try using the kitchen sink. (then you will get a odd look from your family. "Mom is shooting pics of the sink again!"

It was taken at the Nelson-Atkins Art Museum in Kansas City, MO. It felt very swanky to be eating pricey sandwiches in such fancy surroundings. It is a beautiful museum and I strongly encourage a visit if anyone ever finds themselves in the area.

I often get odd looks from my family, so I don't think some sink practice will hurt my feelings any.

Ah. That's where I thought it was. Didn't know if I need to haul my carcass out from under this bridge and go see something super cool in Topeka.
